The German security researcher Mike Kuketz examined the NordVPN app for Android. He found that the app doesn't only contain several wide-spread trackers (which is confirmed by Exodus) but also sends your email address plus several identification tokens (like the Google Advertising ID) to the third party Iterable Inc, during the registration process.
This data transfer is not mentioned at all in the NordVPN Privacy Policy.

I got a mail back from a higher up at NordVPN. In the mail it. said that the thing about them and ExpressVPN backing out at the same time was just a coincidence. But a few days earlier I got a mail back from a higher up at ExpressVPN, telling me the same story.
Another thing they admitted was that the previous countdown timer was fake, and that they had replaced it with a "new" one that is real. But have they? No
